How this menu uses data
This digital menu collects anonymous usage statistics so the restaurant can learn which dishes and sections guests look at, and when. That helps us keep the menu useful and the kitchen ready.
What is recorded
- Which sections and dishes were on screen, for how long, and which ones were tapped.
- Search words typed into the menu search box.
- The language chosen, the type of device (phone, tablet, computer) and its screen size.
- The country and city the connection appears to come from, and whether the menu was opened from a QR code, a link, or a social network.
- A random identifier stored on your device so we can tell a returning guest from a new one. It contains no personal information and can be cleared by deleting this site's data in your browser.
- If you order from the menu: the dishes, the table and the times, together with this visit's statistics, so the restaurant can see what its menu leads to.
- If you join a waiting list: your name, your mobile number and who is with you, so the staff can call you when your table is ready. Names and numbers are erased after 30 days.
If you join the offers list
The menu may ask for your mobile number, gender and date of birth so Kiez Küche may contact you about offers and news. This is optional: you can skip it and use the menu normally. If you save it, Kiez Küche stores those details together with your menu activity (the sections and dishes you look at, the dishes you order from the menu, and the branches you visit) to personalise offers. The same number entered on another device links to the same profile. To be removed from the list, message the number on our website or ask any branch.
What is never recorded
- Your name, email, or any account. Your phone number only if you chose to share it.
- Your IP address or precise location.
- Anything from other websites or apps. No advertising networks are involved.
Statistics are kept by the restaurant and its technology provider, DineOS, and are only ever viewed in aggregate.
